Pre-Visit Guide – How to Prepare for Power Washing

To ensure a safe and efficient service, please review the following guidelines before your scheduled appointment.

By scheduling or receiving services from Coastal Power Wash, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to the terms outlined in this Pre-Visit Guide.

If you have any questions or concerns, please contact us before your scheduled appointment or on the day of service.

Water Access & Water Supply (Required)

Your home will be cleaned by two technicians using two machines, which requires two working exterior water spigots with sufficient water pressure.

• Both water spigots must be turned on and accessible before our arrival.

• For condos, townhomes, and multi-resident properties, two separate water spigots must be available for our use.
• If the home’s water is shut off, or otherwise unavailable, service cannot be performed.
• If there is not enough water flow to support two machines running at the same time, service cannot be performed.

If water is unavailable or insufficient at the time of service, your appointment will be rescheduled to a later date.

Access & Parking

• We require at least three street parking spaces in front of your home to accommodate our truck and trailer.
• We prefer to park in the street whenever possible.
• Please move all vehicles away from the home to allow safe access for hoses, ladders, and equipment.
• If adequate parking is not available at the time of service, your appointment will be rescheduled to a later date.

Property Condition & Damage Prevention

• Please notify us of any defective or broken windows, siding, light fixtures, outlets, or areas you would like us to avoid.
• We are not responsible for damage to improperly sealed windows, doors, sliding doors, or oxidized siding.
• All windows and doors must be closed and latched before service begins.
• If any windows or doors are left open or opened during cleaning, we cannot be held responsible for interior water intrusion.

Electrical & Personal Property

• All outdoor electrical outlets must have functional waterproof covers and be in good working order.
• Please remove or cover security cameras, Ring doorbells, outdoor speakers, and any other devices you wish to keep dry.

Decks, Porches & Furniture

• If decks or porches are being cleaned, please reduce furniture on the surface so our team can clean properly.
• If you have a wood or decorative ceiling, we will only rinse any overspray from the ceiling and will not clean the ceiling unless discussed beforehand.
• If your ceiling cannot come in contact with detergents, notify us prior to your appointment.

Fabrics & Chemicals

• Our detergents contain bleach and may stain fabrics.
• Please remove all seat cushions, rugs, flags, or fabric items you do not want exposed.
• Our detergents are safe for most outdoor furniture without fabric cushions or pillows.

Safety During Service

• Anyone entering or exiting the home during service should be aware that:
  – Detergents may stain clothing
  – Hoses, ladders, and equipment create trip hazards

• Opening or closing doors during service may allow water and detergents to enter the home.
• Coastal Power Wash is not responsible for any interior damage caused by doors being opened or closed during service.

Weather Policy

• All appointments are weather dependent and may be rescheduled due to rain or high winds.
